Description
This Studio Line lounge chair by Jürgen Lange, designed in the 1970s for Walter Knoll, is in excellent condition. The high-quality black leather shows virtually no signs of wear and has a very pleasant feel. There is only a small scuff mark on the back and slight wear on the piping of the right rear corner. The seating comfort is impeccable. The double side panels accentuate the chair's cubist character and give it a striking appearance.
The family-owned company Wilhelm Knoll was founded in 1865 and quickly became known for its high-quality leather furniture. From 1925 onwards, Walter Knoll was an important figure in the avant-garde movement and focused on the production of Bauhaus furniture. The German designer Jürgen Lange designed several prominent seating pieces for leading German furniture manufacturers. -
