            Description

A prolific Italian architect working from Rome, Marcello Piacentini (1881-1960) defined his approach to design as "simplified neoclassicism" and often used clean lines with an imposing flair. This restored pair includes a square-form seat with short sides and the 2nd with elongated arching arms - both in a gorgeous rootwood. Fully upholstered in an emerald green velvet over a black lacquered stacked plinth base that highlights the Art Deco period design. Produced by Fratelli Gamba di Cascina, Italy. Exceptional.

 Sold as a pair.
