Description
The 'Latonda' chair, designed in 1987, represented a synthesis of previously developed models, always made of black painted steel, with a perforated steel seat (with the option of a leather seat).
"The bent metal tube traces the shape of an upward-curving circle in space. The two inclined circles are interrupted at the center to make room for the thin perforated sheet metal seat, which balances on the two tubular elements that complete its continuous development. The essentiality of this chair/armchair's design lies entirely in its stripping away of different elements, until it is reduced to a single, rigorous geometric path that moves through space."
On each chair there is the original lable by the producer, Alias. -
