Description
Experience the timeless elegance of traditional Chinese craftsmanship with this exceptional hand-carved rosewood long bench. Created in the mid to late 20th century, this piece embodies the artistry and meticulous attention to detail characteristic of Chinese folk art.
Crafted from solid rosewood, this bench features smooth, hand-carved surfaces that are rich with patina, offering both visual and tactile beauty. Its robust construction ensures sturdiness and durability, while the intricate carvings highlight traditional motifs, celebrating Chinese heritage and design.
The bench comes with a removable seat cushion upholstered in fine Chinese silk. The cushion is in immaculate condition, adding a luxurious element to the piece. While the bench itself is in great condition, a small stress hairline is present on the right corner of the frame, a minor detail that does not compromise its overall integrity or charm. It measures:
Length: 74 inches
Depth: 28 inches
Height: 38 inches
This bench is a stunning statement piece, perfect for use as a sofa, entryway seating, or an accent in a living room or study. Its timeless design and craftsmanship make it a versatile addition to both traditional and contemporary interiors. -
