Pair of Czech Wingback Armchairs by Miroslav Navrátil

Pair of Czech wingback armchairs by Miroslav Navrátil.
With metal frames and an enveloping form, these chairs combine the classic wingback feature with a modern ergonomic feel.
Miroslav Navrátil (1913-1999) is one of the most prominent designers in Czechoslovak history. With an emphasis on functionality, he is most famous for his Vertex chair which epitomised Czech socialist design.
These chairs have been reupholstered in fabric with English shearling seats.
