Description
"Celina" Sofa by Muniz Zylberberg, a stunning piece of Brazilian Modernism designed in the 1960s. This exceptional three-seater sofa features a highly geometrical structure in massive Pau Ferro, free from excessive ornamentation, with clean horizontal lines. The disposition of the wooden beams creates an aesthetic linear pattern at the back, allowing it to be showcased in the center of a room. This exquisite sofa boasts attached side tables with original marble tops. Acquired from a private collector in Vitoria, Espirito Santo, Brazil, in February 2024, this piece has undergone meticulous restoration. The entire structure has been polished and cleaned, correcting superficial veneer damage, and the marble tops have been expertly polished to enhance their natural beauty. The cushions have been reupholstered with natural 100% linen fabric in a double mesh, ensuring both comfort and style. Its originality lies in the harmonious dialogue between the warmth of the tropical wood and the cold marble of the two incorporated side tables.
