Description
Functional art or collectible design piece. Made out of cast aluminum bar stool T-009 by Nicolas Erauw.
Made for Everyday Gallery's show 'In real Life', Antwerp
Each piece will be unique. We're open for commissioned works.
Wax On Wax Off series
These series is a collection of experiments of lost-wax casting and wax-dipping processes. The wax dipping is done with a self-made machine called TONK. TONK, a machine based on the old technique of candle dipping, was created to explore shapes and forms through a new medium. When combining TONK with the lost wax casting technique, a unique piece is produced every single time.
Barstool T-008 & T-009 are part of the first objects that were made with the machine. The stools are the result of trying out different string setups and various machine settings. While these stools have a particular form and look, other possibilities are yet to be discovered in this on-going project.
