Description
A beautiful set of six legendary models 77 dining chairs by the Danish designer Niels Otto Møller from 1959. Seemingly simple, yet very ingeniously crafted by master craftsmen at J.L Møbelfabrik.
The connections of which the parts of this design are put together are of pure class. The ends of the back legs grip the backrest and are beautifully finished so that the seams are barely visible. The front legs are slightly longer so that the seat is placed at a nice soft angle and resulting in improved seating comfort. A slightly springy paper cord certainly contributes to this and is neatly folded around the corners and secured with nails.
Contributing to its presence is the fiery teak that has been used for these chairs. It shows a beautiful drawing and flames. These are beautiful elegant dining chairs that have simply stood the test of time and can easily adapt to a variety of interiors.
This set of chairs is in beautiful condition, except for a single scratch and minor wear. -
