Pair of Ole Wanscher for France and Son "Senator" Chairs in Teak

Pair of Danish modern easy chairs (model 116) designed by Ole Wanscher for France & Son. Composed of a dense slat-back frame, designed with a partially exposed back to better reveal the upholstery. Loose cushions feature a button-tufted pattern on back and seat. Newly refinished and reupholstered in Odaka "Wayne" 01 Desert - a micro fiber, resembling real leather texture and made with recycled leather (65% Polyester, 30% Leather, 5% Polyurethane Fiber). The color is taupe (light brown with pink undertones). Fabric samples available upon request. Sturdy and durable, retaining the original spring-seat construction. Both chairs retain the France and Son medallion affixed to the frame.
