Pair of carved gilt armchairs
Milan, Italy circa 1780
Size: 37” high x 22 ¼” wide x 19” deep x 18” seat height (94 x 56.5 x 48.5 x 45.75 cm.)
A very finely gilded and carved pair of neoclassic arm chairs with medallion shaped backs with a central carved bow joined by sloped padded arm rests supported by shaped uprights above a circular apron with rosettes atop tapered and fluted legs resting on toupie feet. -
