Description
A glamorous pair of American Art Deco club chairs from the 1930s, these substantial lounge chairs embody the sophisticated modernism and enveloping comfort that defined the finest seating of the Art Deco period. Sweeping barrel forms, deeply sculpted arms, and a large plush seat all newly professionally reupholstered in a sumptuous truffle or gingerbread cashmere-like fabric rated highly durable. Chocolate braided trim traces each contour, emphasizing the chairs’ dramatic geometry and adding a couture-like detail reminiscent of bespoke French upholstery. Elegant, substantial, and undeniably luxurious, this pair captures the enduring appeal of Art Deco design while speaking directly to today’s renewed appreciation for softness, craftsmanship, and timeless glamour. The large size with generous proportions offer exceptional comfort and a commanding presence, making these ideal as a pair flanking a fireplace, anchoring a library, or serving as statement seating in a sophisticated living room. Perfect cigar lounge chairs. Ready to ship.
