Description
A pair of Sparta chairs by Christoph Hindermann for Swiss manufacturer Dietiker, combining dark charcoal-grey leather upholstery with slender chrome-plated tubular metal frames.
The design is distinguished by gently curved rectangular backrests, shaped upholstered seats and exposed chrome back supports. Viewed from behind, the paired supports give the chairs a particularly distinctive silhouette, while the slim four-legged frames lend the set visual lightness.
Their restrained proportions and contrasting materials make them suitable for dining rooms, meeting spaces and home offices. The dark leather and reflective chrome work equally well alongside warm wood, glass or stone tables.
Dimensions per chair: H 81 × W 46 × D 49 cm. Seat height: 46 cm.
Condition: The leather shows visible wear in places, consistent with use. The chairs remain stable and are in good overall vintage condition. Please refer to the photographs for surface details. -
