Description
A distinctive vintage pendant lamp by DORIA Leuchten, Germany, dating from circa the 1960s and retaining its manufacturer’s label. Its textured crackle glass shade is paired with brass-toned metal fittings and a rope suspension, bringing together contrasting surfaces in a balanced mid-century composition.
The glass catches the light across its irregular surface, giving the shade a rich visual texture even when unlit. The rope suspension, with a decorative knot near the ceiling canopy, adds a tactile element that contrasts with the reflective glass and metal.
Combining a simple silhouette with expressive materials, the pendant would make an inviting focal point above a dining table, in an entrance hall or within a seating area. Its combination of glass, warm metallic tones and rope lends itself to mid-century, rustic modern and eclectic interiors. -
