Description
Rare pair of Napoleon III period planters or stools representing kneeling Nubians carrying a load.
In carved and partially gilded wood, blackened for the faces.
Each rests on a round molded base.
The characters are finely sculpted and very realistic.
They face each other, making these two supports a real pair.
