Paul McCobb for Directional Model 1323 Loose-Cushion Lounge Chair, 1956
A classic mid-century lounge chair designed by Paul McCobb for Directional in 1956. The sculptural walnut base has been fully restored to showcase its rich grain and warm patina. Loose back and seat cushions have been reupholstered in a textured nubby cotton blend with high-density poly foam for comfort and durability. Clean lines, low profile arms, and an elegant wood frame capture the restrained modernism McCobb is celebrated for.
