Description
pair of Italian design stools, probably from the Art Deco or Mid-Century period, dating back to the 1940s or 1950s. They are attributed to Pier Luigi Colli, in particular the model.
The stools have a dark, curved wooden frame with a padded seat upholstered in green velvet, which shows signs of wear, as can be seen from the patina. The seat is rectangular in shape with rounded corners for greater comfort and a softer look. Underneath the padding is a light-coloured lacquered wooden support (probably cream or ivory), which connects to the base.
These stools are an excellent example of Italian craftsmanship and vintage design, combining formal elegance and sinuous lines. They lend themselves to different settings, such as stools for a dressing table in the bedroom or as accent chairs in a living room. Their design, characterised by curves and contrasts in colour and material, makes them a unique and visually striking piece of furniture. - More Information
