This pair of chairs is upholstered in black leather with cotton strapping. In 1948 Florence and Hans Knoll licensed the chair from Pierre Jeanneret. This design shares many aspects of the chairs that he designed for Chandigarh. These chairs are commonly referred to as Scissors Chairs.
