Description
An exceptionally rare bench by Finnish Architect Risto Veikko Luukkonen (1902-1972) who was one of the pioneer functionalist architects to lead the movement in Finland. His career started in the 1920s and spaned till the late 1960s.
The bench is made from elm and with the bending technique used at the time. The arm rest has a brass ashtray to add a nostalgic touch and memories of times long lost.
Perfect for hallways, reception areas, shops and many other spaces. A rare modernistic gem that has never been seen before. -
