Rare Pair of Monumental Art Deco Lounge Chairs in Alcantara 1930s

$ 19,200
  • Description
    A rare pair of monumental art deco lounge chairs in beige alcantara and solid walnut. Europe, 1930s.

    A generous and sculptural pair of 1930s art deco lounge chairs upholstered in a soft beige alcantara. Generously proportioned and deeply inviting, the chairs feature a rounded silhouette, voluptuous lines and elegant scalloped backs. Resting on solid walnut feet the chairs appear playful, elegant and sensual, while balancing glamour and restraint.

    Equally suited to a refined contemporary interior as to a more eclectic environment.

    The pair comes in a good original - restored - condition with slight wear on the upholstery, as can be seen in the pictures.
