Description
A pair of vintage rosewood lounge chairs designed by Sergio Rodrigues, made by Oca for Meia Pateca in Brazil, circa 1963. Modeled as "Tonico", these chairs were constructed with solid Jacaranda rosewood, webbing and loose cushions. Elegant in form, the design features wonderful lines playing with large round ball finials, yet the deep seats and backrests provide comfort for daily use.
Fully restored, newly upholstered in Tomus fabric by Kvadrat with custom-made harness leather straps. -
