Description
A stately and architectural set of six Belgian oak dining chairs from the 1960s, crafted from stripped wood with angular frames and high backs. The tall, panel-style backrests feature a softly arched crest, adding subtle Gothic or monastic flair to the otherwise pared-down construction. Each seat is handwoven in natural rush, offering both texture and traditional craftsmanship.
The stripped wood finish gives the chairs a pale, modernized look while preserving their rustic roots—an ideal pairing with both antique farm tables and minimalist interiors.
Very good vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound and visually cohesive as a set. -
