Description
Pair of iconic Serpentine sofas designed by the legendary Vladimir Kagan for Directional in the 1970s. These stunning pieces have been meticulously restored by Stamford Modern to their original beauty and are now available for purchase.
The sofas feature Kagan's signature Serpentine design, with sensuous curves that are both elegant and functional. The frames have been expertly restored to their original condition, ensuring that these pieces will last for generations to come.
The sofas have been reupholstered in a luxurious off-white bouclé fabric by Kravet. This plush, high-quality fabric not only adds to the sofas' comfort level but also enhances their aesthetic appeal. The neutral tone of the fabric complements the unique shape of the sofas, allowing them to blend seamlessly into any interior design scheme.
Vladimir Kagan was a master of modern design, and his work has been highly sought after for decades. Original Directional labels remain attached underneath.
Other designers working in the organic style include Gio Ponti, Jean Royere, Paul Frankl, George Nakashima, and Isamu Noguchi. -
