Set of three richly patinated barstools with leatherette seats supported by wrought iron and steel frames with footrests (ca. 1970s, Italy).
Though the maker is unknown, contemporary adaptations of these stools have been made within the last several decades with material and design variations - this original design likely serving as the template.
Seat is composed of a molded plastic shell wrapped in tufted and buttoned leatherette (upholstered portion is easily removable from the plastic shell for reupholstery). Backrest is wrought iron connected to a painted steel frame.
Good age and natural patina present (wear to the seats along with spots of peeling, as shown; black iron and steel frames have been touched up).
Sourced in Rome.
We have a total of six of these stools; this listing is for three.
