A classic French Louis XV–style chaise longue—historically called a Duchesse or méridienne—this piece showcases the flowing curves, asymmetric silhouette, and delicate foliate carvings emblematic of Rococo design. Crafted in solid carved walnut with refined floral motifs along the apron and backrest, it rests on graceful S‑shaped cabriole legs ending in small scroll feet. Upholstered in a cream‑and‑sable patterned floral textile, it carries the romantic, antique aesthetic associated with 18th‑century French salon seating. Condition note: Some signs of staining and one small tear to upholstery -reupholstery is highly recommended. Dimensions: 60" l x 22" w x 41" t (seat height: 16")

Some signs of staining to upholstery and one small tear-new upholstery is recommended. The well carved wooden frame show some scuffs and dings-cracks to carved frame on lower back-still tight and sturdy.
