    Designed in the early phase of what we know today as mid-century modern, this charming sofa is a unique piece of evidence showing how traditional Swedish craftsmanship was brought into modernism. The Swedish perspective on cabinetmaking is exceptional, which is why the country’s cabinetmakers’ craft remains world-famous. As a quintessentially Swedish Modern piece, this sofa is built around the core characteristics of the style: gently rounded edges, solid wooden legs, and a generous fully upholstered body.

    This sofa has a solid wood frame with carefully thought out proportions. The design appears very open, which is the result of the light fabric that accentuates its curved edges. Together, these details create a welcoming design that communicates cosiness and well-being, further aided by the tufted buttons and warm wood.
