Swedish Set of 5 Gustavian Dining Chairs
-
Description
A set of five Gustavian style dining chairs, circa 1810, with fantastic potential in any space. The curved back rests feature reeded details on the back and seem suspended by turned spindles. Lambs tongue carving on the apron is interrupted by folate carved joinery dies above tapered, reeded legs. White muslin is fixed to the frames with visible upholsterers nails and is ready for the fabric of your choice or left as is depending on your style. The red ocher finish has gained a wonderful patina over the years. Seat height is 17”. Make sure to take a closer look at the detailed images to get a closer look at their current condition.
