An elegant armchair designed by Viggo Boesen and produced by Hos Wulff, Denmark, during the 1930s.

One of the leading figures of the Danish Funkis movement, Boesen became renowned for introducing a softer, more organic expression to Scandinavian Modern design. His furniture is celebrated for its sculptural silhouettes, inviting proportions, and exceptional craftsmanship, making his early works among the most sought-after examples of Danish design today.

This armchair beautifully illustrates Boesen’s signature approach. The elegantly sculpted wooden armrests, flowing in a continuous line from the backrest to the front legs, are among the chair’s most distinctive features.
