Pair of Oversized Lounge Chairs, Attributed to Vladimir Kagan, c.1985
Bold, flared arms like the pioneering lounge designs of Vladimir Kagan, famed for his sweeping curves and sculptural comfort.
Construction & Upholstery
• Frames: One original hardwood frame in sound vintage condition; one fully rebuilt with reinforced joinery for structural integrity
• Suspension: Straps on both chairs decks for responsive support
• Cushioning: New high-density foam cores wrapped in down-alternative batting
• Upholstery: Luxurious patterned boucle and wool-cotton-poly blend fabric, chosen to highlight the chairs’ generous proportions and tactile appeal
