Description
A love for his 1950s wingback design motivated Vladimir Kagan to circle back and produce a more contemporary version he later named the Fiftyish Sofa. Vladimir Kagan's tendency to over emphasize curves is evident in this sofa's design. True to that classic 1950s wingback silhouette. But fresh and modern. With fuller exaggerated arms and seat back, Kagan exaggerates classical lines and themes. Seat back wings add a sense of privacy and are angled to recline and enveloped you in comfort. The sofas' arms are comfortable and angled to compliment the seat back creating natural alignment. Stainless steel legs now replace traditional walnut legs. Timelessly stylish. This pair of Fiftyish Sofas was newly professionally reupholstered in super soft ivory white bouclé rated highly durable. The fabric's texture ventilates well and is a great choice for both warm and cooler climates. These Vladimir Kagan sofas mix incredibly well with most styles of decor with a sculptural classic look that stands on its own.
