Description
Early 1950s Vladimir Kagan set of twenty stainless steel dining chairs professionally reupholstered in soft ivory bouclé. This rare set was designed in the 1950s by Vladimir Kagan during a ten year joint venture with Hugo Dreyfuss (textile designer/printmaker) in New York City. The partnership later ended in 1960 with Dreyfuss' retirement. Soft Ivory Bouclé upholstered seats and backs contrast the stainless steel frames. Truly timeless, these sleek chairs were originally manufactured over 60 years ago but retain that Kagan "WOW" factor. High design and high quality construction. The frames are impressive and clean. The set is comprised of four (4) arm chairs and sixteen (16) side chairs all in excellent condition having been professionally reupholstered in highly durable soft ivory boucle. Labeled "Kagan-Dreyfuss". Reupholstery is available with Customer's Own Material for an upcharge.
