Hailing from the 1930s is this timelessly sleek Art Deco set of 4 chrome Gilbert Rohde Model Z dining chairs freshly redone in new softly textured chestnut fabric. Gilbert Rohde pieces were a favorite of the Art Deco period. Sexy and confident Art Deco pieces made of only the best materials. More specifically, this set of Rohde Z chairs were part of the Machine Age design movement - an early 20th-century aesthetic movement that embraced industrial technology, efficiency, and mass production. Those ideals are evident in this well preserved set of set of 4 Gilbert Rohde Art Deco dining chairs. The frames are constructed of tubular steel making them incredibly strong. Chrome plated for a mirror like finish, the frames reflect and merge into their surroundings. Newly professionally upholstered in a soft and textured chestnut fabric that will beckon guests to the table. The warm and organic texture adds an unexpected contrast to the chrome frames.
