Generous and comfortable yeoman's windsor armchair consisting of an arched back with supporting central pierced splat having a ship's wheel roundel and turned spindles above a D shaped support joined at the elbows to the armrests, continuing to the wonderfully wonky elm seat, on turned ash legs with front to back and side to side stretchers. Possessing wonderful color and great character. England, circa 1830.
