$ 8,300
  • Description
    Exceptional, perfect restored 19th century chest of drawers from the famous Biedermeier period in Vienna/ Austria around 1840. Impressing with an absolute fantastic looking grain, this elaborately restored chest/ commode offers four large, lockable drawers which provide a lot of storage room. The fine selected nutwood veneer has been set in an absolute beautiful manner to make it look like it is running down from top to the bottom without any interruption. In contrast to that the slightly curved pilaster strips show a horizontally veneered surface. Gorgeous looking brass key blades in the shape of shields and a traditional handpolished shellac finish completes the outstanding appearance of this fine Austrian Biedermeier chest of drawers from the mid 19th century.
