This 19th-century French bookcase is crafted from solid pine and richly adorned with carved decoration. The upper frieze features a high-relief scene depicting multiple figures in genre scenes, framed by scrolling foliage and vegetal motifs. The side uprights are embellished with finely carved half-relief busts set against leafy backgrounds. Inside, the piece offers five open storage levels, ideal for displaying books or decorative objects. As with all our rustic furniture, this antique has undergone a two-cycle woodworm treatment as a preventive measure.
