Description
Elegant, narrow, 3-sided glazed Art Deco display cabinet in macassar from France, circa 1930.
Macassar ebony veneer (frames) on softwood and mahogany solid wood (cornice and base).
Original, thick glass panes on 3 sides with faceted edges. The right-hand pane has a crack at the top, which does not affect its function. Original mirror glass on the back. Original brass fittings.
Three glass shelves with sophisticated original metal brackets and stoppers at the front.
Restored condition, shellac hand-polished.
