Description
Restored original Art Deco period Sideboard or Display Cabinet / Vitrine in lacquered Macassar ebony from Paris, France circa 1930.
Manufacturer: Georges & Gaston Guerin, Paris (unsigned).
Macassar ebony veneered, lacquered and high gloss polished. Original brass trim. Interior in light maple veneer with glass shelf and two sliding glass doors with brass handle.
Above an inlaid, original, slightly scratched black glass top in the old Lackobello process.
Fully and high-end restored condition.
The showcase sideboard is part of a complete dining room together with a large sideboard (AD-SB-403) and a Macassar extending table with 10 chairs (AD-SI-464). The other large sideboard has a signed emblem inside the drawer stating the manufacturer. The dining table is sold. Two sideboards and 10 chairs still available.
