Description
Large modular bookcase in curved and lacquered plywood, designed by Carlo de Carli, produced by Fiarm in the 1960s.
A playful modular bookcase composed of curved plywood, showcased here in a combination of white, black, and natural wood, exquisitely optical. Breaking conventional norms with innovation and a touch of irony, this piece was designed by Carlo de Carli in the mid-1960s. In a period of experimentation and creativity, this bookcase redefines the traditional storage furniture.
Various modules of different sizes can be freely combined, stacked, or joined together to achieve the desired form. Whether solving a specific furnishing challenge or simply indulging in personal creativity, users can compose a piece with a unique and personal aesthetic. In a project like this, almost akin to a social experiment, the designer steps back, offering complete freedom for users to express their creativity.
