Niti Night Stands in Custom Blue Lacquer

These new nightstands were created from my Niti side table design, expressing the same clean classic lines with distinctive detailing and unique structural features. They are finely hand made in all-solid maple and spray-finished with a blue lacquer matched to Farrow and Ball's "Hague Blue".

Like my other Niti Side Tables, the distinctive parts of the design include hand sculpted rails that the drawer slides on -- visible on the sides of each table, leaving the drawer sides visibly exposed. Another handsome detail is created by the slightly wider than usual drawer and drawer front nesting into the recessed notches in the legs to either side.

A routed finger purchase on the underside of the drawer front serves as the pull . All of the drawer and the case interior are finished blue and visible when the drawer pulls out. An 11/2" hole near the rear of the top provides for wire management while just below the top, the back of the drawer is positioned forward of the hole to allow wires to pass cleanly down through.
