A simple, yet versatile pine bookcase from 19th century England, that will be the perfect backdrop to display treasured collections & collectibles as well as books. Five shelves, 10 ½” deep, can be easily adjusted on sawtooth brackets to suit one’s needs. Stretching across the crown is a metal curtain rod; an unexpected opportunity for personalization with your own fabric choice whether the intent is to add visual interest or protection from dust. The bookcase has been cleaned and polished with a French paste wax to preserve the stunning color, please view the detailed images to see the current condition. Note that the bookcase is stable however the vertical plank on the right is slightly bowed (view the image gallery).
