English Painted Pine Chest of Drawers with Moth Decoupage

Dimensions: 32 ⅝” H x 36” W x 20 ¾” D

An English pine chest of drawers has been recently updated with new paint of ebonized effect and pasted découpage moths. The density of these illustrations glows with a gilded luster against the satin black paint that covers the piece. The top is made from a single plank of pine, which sits atop three wide drawers that open smoothly with brass ring pulls. Two of the three original locks are intact, although their key(s) has been lost to time. The lock has been removed from the top drawer. Bracket feet support the weight of the chest, and they have been painted with gold pinstripes for added detail. Gently cleaned and tightened, ready for use in your interiors. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering the age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
