New England, early 19th c.
Pine, Polychrome paint decoration, brass pulls and escutcheons.
In a remarkable state of preservation, retaining its original red surface with flame-grained case front and original brass pulls and escutcheons. The upper lidded compartment with two false drawer fronts over two drawers supported by tall, swept feet spanning a graceful cupids bow apron.
