A fine quality late 19th century (circa 1890) mahogany chest of drawers.
This chest of drawers consists of a figured mahogany top with moulded edge and carved moulded edge below leading down to a brushing slide with brass drop handles.
This leads down to three graduated drawers all with applied astragal design mouldings and pine linings, each drawer having two fine quality decorative gilt handles.
The sides also of solid mahogany with applied moulded decoration, the chest supported by four bracket feet with carved foliate decoration.
This chest of drawers is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
