    A French Louis XVI period cherry commode from the late 18th century, with three drawers and fluted side posts. Created in France during the last decade of the 18th century, this cherry commode features a rectangular top with rounded corners in the front, sitting above three drawers fitted with brass hardware. Flanked with rounded fluted side posts, the commode is raised on four cylindrical tapered feet. With its clean lines and cherry patina, this Louis XVI cherry commode circa 1790 will bring a touch of Classicism to any home, perhaps displayed in a bedroom, living room or foyer.
