George Nelson for Herman Miller Thin Edge Credenza, Model 5724, 1957
Beautifully grained walnut case with quarter-sawn walnut doors. Features four drawers and a pair of doors concealing a pull-out drawer and adjustable shelves. Set on solid cast aluminum tapered legs.
The sculpted aluminum pulls are a rare design, seldom seen on Nelson case pieces.
Condition: Professionally restored with a hand-rubbed oil finish.
Foil label inside drawer reads “George Nelson for Herman Miller, Zeeland, Michigan.”
Factory-stenciled production numbers to backside.
