Description
Large Floral Painted 18th Century Commode of German Origin with five drawers made of oak), serpentine front, on bun feet. Charming and very decorative with the red paint nicely distressed for a relaxed, lived-in look - or to be retouched for a more formal and elegant appearance (the first of the additional photos shows how the commode would look fully retouched. The retouch can be done by our restorer to the clients wishes (not included in the price). The beautifully painted bouquets of flowers with with an added bird here and there, and the gilt decorated moldings give this commode a unique rich look.
