Available today, this one-of-a-kind Brazilian Modern Armoire in Hardwood by Moveis Cimo in the fifties is a very rare FIND and is gorgeous!

The armoire is entirely made in Imbuia hardwood and features a rectangular structure with curved ends, two doors with yellow circles that act as handles and four delicate legs. This piece encapsulates the Brazilian Modernist aesthetic of the fifties: straight lines, curved ends, exuberant use of wood. The quality of the wood is excellent and the joinery is also fantastic. Finding a piece like this in good condition is quite difficult. This may be because in the fifties, high quality furniture was still artisanal and production badges were much smaller than in the sixties and onwards, when the country’s industrialization started.
