An imposing cherry wood sideboard that stands as a masterful example of rationalist cabinetmaking, where the purity of geometric lines meets the luster of period finishes. Characterized by a generous horizontal profile and a solid structure, it is a piece that embodies the understated, functional elegance of great Italian design—in this case, by Maxalto.
The upper section features a cantilevered top with a glossy finish, embellished by a front profile of engraved horizontal slats that lend the piece a slender silhouette. A back panel is inserted along the rear edge. This section incorporates four spacious drawers with recessed circular knobs, which maintain the clean and rigorous rationalist lines of the cabinet.
The main body consists of four large hinged doors in light wood with a mirrored vertical grain, creating a harmonious and natural visual rhythm.
