Pair of Swedish White Painted Chests of Drawers, circa 1920

Offered by: Jacqueline Adams Antiques

Description
A pair of Swedish white painted chests of drawers, circa 1920, combining the practicality of matched storage with the luminous painted surface that defines the Swedish look. The soft white finish, gently aged rather than starkly new, gives the pair the light-reflecting quality designers seek for bedrooms and dressing rooms, where matched chests flanking a bed remain one of the most elegant furnishing solutions available. Each chest offers substantial drawer storage behind a cleanly proportioned front. The pale surfaces show the mellow wear of a century of careful use, adding warmth and authenticity. Sold as a pair, both pieces sound and ready for service.

This is an antique and having been around for a long time, it will show signs of wear. Antique pieces have very much sought-after character and associated flaws. Please review photos for condition & contact us with questions!
