MUGWORT DREAM - concrete cabinet

Description
MUGWORT DREAM is a cast concrete cabinet, with plant relief imprints, and fish and shell motifs. A surreal dreamy setting of imagery where the mugwort herb is used in the cast. Mugwort has seen continuous use in many cultures throughout the world as a medicinal, spiritual, and culinary ingredient since at least the Iron Age. The piece is from a 2021 collection of unique cast concrete cabinets and furniture by the artist Stefan Buxbaum that evoke a surprising sensation in contrast to the softness and sensibility of nature and plant specimens cast onto them.
The cupboards of Stefan Buxbaum - a casting and concrete expert - are technical feats: the corpus is cast in one piece, in a lightweight technique. For his emblematic plant models, the artist applies his chosen specimens and petrifies those paragons of beauty as permanent reliefs onto the surfaces. SUITABLE FOR OUTDOORS.
We can provide glass or concrete shelves. -
