A Swedish Gustavian style painted sideboard from the 19th century, with reeded motifs, single drawer over double doors. Created in Sweden during the 19th century, this painted sideboard features a rectangular top with rounded corners, overhanging a single drawer with reeded patterns and fitted, along with the doors, with classical hardware. The doors open to reveal a convenient storage space, while the ensemble is raised on splaying legs connected to one another through a scalloped apron in the front. Painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste, this Gustavian style 19th century sideboard will bring a calm elegance presence to any dining room or living room.
